Clinical Nurse/Midwife

Your new role:

As a Clinical Nurse/Midwife – Clinical Facilitator, you will play a pivotal role in delivering advanced clinical care, education, and leadership within the Nursing and Midwifery Practice Development Unit at Redland Hospital.

• Provide expert clinical leadership in assessment, care planning, and delivery to support quality outcomes.
• Facilitate learning and professional development for nurses, midwives, and students, fostering a strong learning culture.
• Contribute to research, quality initiatives, and evidence-based practice to improve patient care.
• Support management responsibilities, including delegation, supervision, and promoting collaborative teamwork.

About you:

You are a motivated and experienced clinical professional who thrives in a leadership role, with a passion for education, mentorship, and delivering excellent patient-centred care.

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and relevant tertiary qualifications.
• Demonstrated advanced clinical skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving in complex situations.
• Strong commitment to education, mentoring, and supporting the professional growth of colleagues and students.
• Proven ability to lead with integrity, accountability, and collaboration to drive positive outcomes.

Redland Hospital is the major health centre for adults and children in the Redlands and Brisbane's southern bayside suburbs. We provide a range of services including emergency care, primary health and minor injury care, acute and subacute medicine, general surgery, maternity and paediatric, mental specialist outpatient and mental health care.
