The Role

As a Maintenance Staff / Technician, you will be part of the team responsible for the ongoing care, upkeep, and operations of greenwalls, roofs and landscaping . Some of your daily tasks might include:

  • Inspecting, troubleshooting, and maintaining greenwalls, greenroofs, planters, irrigation lines, pumps, and plumbing systems
  • Performing general horticultural tasks: pruning, fertilising, weeding, planting / replacing plants
  • Checking and adjusting irrigation / fertigation schedules, ensuring correct watering delivery
  • Conducting preventative maintenance to reduce breakdowns and system failures
  • Identifying and addressing issues (leaks, pests, growth problems, structural issues)
  • Keeping maintenance records, logs, and reports
  • Working on small installations, site modifications, or repairs as needed

What We're Looking For

Essential / desirable experience and attributes:

  • Background in landscaping, gardening or horticulture
  • Experience with irrigation systems is a plus
  • Strong ability to work independently, take initiative, and problem-solve on site
  • Good organisational skills, attention to detail, and methodical work habits
  • Physical fitness and comfort with outdoor work, sometimes at heights on ladders, scaffolding or rooftops.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Drivers licence

Working Commitment

  • Full time, Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 3:30 pm on offer or part time also available.
  • Nursery base location is Ingleside where the days starts.
  • Service locations are all across Sydney.
  • Driving between client sites will be required as part of your role.
  • You'll generally work outdoors so if you love the outdoors this is the right job for you.
  • You will be part of a collaborative and mission-driven team focused on sustainability
