Camp Chef

About Us:

Transnational Services is a well-established Remote Services Company known for delivering high-quality Camp Accommodation services to the Mining and Construction Industries. We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Chef to join our team on a full-time basis.

Position Duties & Responsibilities:

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

· Planning, preparing, and cooking menu items in accordance with recipes and quality standards.

· Ensuring food preparation meets food safety and hygiene regulations.

· Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins.

· Supervising and training kitchen staff, including cooks and kitchen hands.

· Assisting in the development of new menu items and seasonal specials.

· Managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and maintaining cost control.

· Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience Required:

· AQF Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.

· Minimum of 2 years full-time relevant work experience as a qualified Chef.

· Strong knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP).

· Excellent organisational and communication skills.

· Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
