The Position:

We are seeking multiple
full-time Cooks / Chefs
to join our vibrant school communities. These are permanent/fixed-term positions available across various NT locations as a Chef/Cook in a canteen or Early Learning Centre environment, on a permanent, full time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and hygienic canteen to Australian Health Standards.
  • Plan nutritious menus for ELC, OSHC, and the school in line with food policies
  • Prepare and serve meals daily, catering for dietary needs and allergies
  • Manage ordering, stock rotation, and supplier relationships efficiently
  • Oversee canteen budget to ensure cost-effective, sustainable operations

About you (Selection Criteria):
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential criteria:

  • Has proven experience preparing nutritious meals, ideally in a school or early learning centre.
  • Brings strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and Australian Health Standards.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to create safe, inclusive, and engaging environments for children.
  • Lives and breathes Catholic values and is an active member of a Eucharistic community (we also welcome applications from individuals of other faiths who are deeply committed to their values).
  • Holds a current Working with Children (Ochre) Card and First Aid Certificate.
