Boilermaker Welder (Casual) – Metcore Marine

Location
: Williamstown North, Melbourne VIC

Salary
: $50 – $60 per hour

Metcore Marine is seeking qualified Boilermaker Welders to join our busy workshop. Due to ongoing work, there is potential for permanent employment for the right candidates. Applicants with the most relevant qualifications and experience will be given preference.

Key Requirements
:

• Completed apprenticeship (Cert III or equivalent)
• Proficient in FCAW and MMA welding
• Aluminium Pulse MIG and GTAW welding highly regarded
• Strong fabrication skills in mild steel, aluminium and stainless steel
• Commercial ship and marine fabrication or repair experience highly regarded
• Self-motivated, proactive, and focused on delivering quality work efficiently
• Proven ability to manage time well, work independently, and contribute positively to a team
• Experience with complex builds, precision fabrication, and interpreting technical drawings
• Competent in operating workshop tools including hydraulic pan brake folders and CNC plasma cutters

Qualifications and Certifications:

• Confined Space
• Working at Heights
• Construction White Card
• Driver's Licence (essential)
