We are partnered with a global organisation for the recruitment of a contract Project Engineer.

The key points that you'll want to know:

  • You'll be working on CAPEX and site upgrade projects
  • The projects, and the role, are set to run for circa 18 months at this stage
  • Based in Welshpool, working 40 hours per week (occasional extra hours when needed) and Monday to Friday
  • Working for a global organisation
  • ASAP start - we are ready when you are. Due to the urgency around this, we are seeking people who are already based in Perth and available at short notice.

This role will involve managing and coordinating multiple projects concurrently, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards. You'll be responsible for:

  • Delivering CAPEX and site upgrade projects from concept to completion
  • Coordinating contractors, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Managing budgets, schedules, and compliance requirements
  • Overseeing installation, testing, and commissioning
  • Reporting on progress, risks, and opportunities

The role requires someone who can operate with a high degree of autonomy, so you'll need to have some previous experience working on projects such as these. You will bring strong technical expertise and proven experience in engineering project execution. You'll have:

  • Proven track record in managing engineering projects, ideally in industrial or manufacturing environments
  • Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, or Process Engineering (or similar)
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities effectively
  • Safety-focused, with excellent problem-solving abilities
