We're on the hunt for a passionate chef to join the team at Somerville General Store – a neighbourhood favourite known for great food, great coffee and genuine community spirit.

We are looking for

  • Minimum of 3 years kitchen experience - cert 3 or higher preferred (not essential)

  • Experience in preparing and serving a variety of breakfast & lunch dishes

  • Ability to manage ordering, receiving & stock control

  • A strong grasp of food-safety, allergen management and kitchen hygiene

  • An ability to work autonomously

  • Full Australian working rights

  • 7 day availability on a flexible roster

  • Bonus points if you can serve customers & make coffee

  • Predominantly weekday shifts (occasional weekend work will be required)
