About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a full time  Receptionist to join our friendly team based in Townsville. This role is an integral part of our team and is the first face our client families and visitors see when visiting Pet Heaven. We are looking for someone who is an all-rounder with great communication and customer service skills. This is a great opportunity for someone looking gain experience and training in the crematorium industry.

In this role you will:
  • Reception duties including answering phone calls, responding to email queries and escalating urgent matters as appropriate
  • Ensure all visitors and families are appropriately welcomed and greeted
  • Carry out administration duties such as making urn labels and wrapping ashes, creating certificates/paw print/fur clip cards/ framed paw prints.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ensure all stationary and other small consumable stock levels are maintained
  • Participate in the weekend roster and be available for the after hours on call roster
  • To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • At least 2 years in a reception role or similar

  • Availability to participate in the after hours and weekend on-call roster
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Proficient computer skills and comfortable using the Microsoft suite of applications (Word, Outlook)
  • An eye for detail is paramount to this position.
  • Effective time management and organisation skills
  • Willingness to want to learn the industry and assist other departments.

Prior industry experience is preferred; however, full training and education will be provided to the right applicant.
