Advanced Trainer - Certificate III Electrical

PEER's Advanced Trainers are leaders in vocational education, combining industry expertise with a passion for developing the next generation of skilled professionals. In this pivotal role, you'll deliver and assess training programs, mentor trainers, contribute to curriculum development, and ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging, high-quality training and assessment across accredited and non-accredited programs, ensuring every learner gains real industry skills.

  • Lead and manage operational activities, including rostering, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to Trainers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
  • Support and problem-solve operational matters across RTO and GTO initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of new and existing projects and programs.
  • Drive continuous improvement to enhance quality, efficiency, and learner outcomes.
  • Model and promote PEER's values while fostering a strong learner-focused culture.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development, including working towards Diploma studies in VET and/or Leadership & Management (or similar).

What We're Looking For:

You are an experienced and qualified electrical professional with a passion for developing the next generation of tradespeople. Positions available in a full time, casual and part time capacity.

You bring:

  • A Cert IV in Training & Assessment and a current electrical trade qualification (Diploma in VET or higher valued).
  • Proven experience in delivering engaging, flexible VET training programs.
  • A strong understanding of the VET sector, with the ability to translate industry knowledge into real-world learning.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills, with a structured and systematic approach.
  • A natural mentor and team player who collaborates, leads by example, and supports others to succeed.
  • A strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, focused on quality, improvement, and results.
  • Tech-savvy and detail-oriented, with the confidence to manage systems, reporting, and digital learning tools.
  • Above all, you're accountable, approachable, and committed to excellence, embodying PEER's values in everything you do.
