About the role

Old Reynella Dental is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our dynamic team on a casual basis. This role will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of our dental practice located in Old Reynella, South Australia.

What you'll be doing

  • Greeting and welcoming patients to the dental practice in a friendly and professional manner
  • Assisting the dentist during patient examinations and treatments.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, scheduling appointments, and handling financial transactions
  • Ordering and maintaining an appropriate inventory of dental supplies and materials
  • Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and infection control protocols
  • Providing exceptional customer service and addressing patient queries and concerns in a timely manner

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar customer service-oriented role within the healthcare industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with patients of all ages
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in using dental practice management software and other relevant computer applications . Experience with Dental4Windows an advantage.
  • A genuine interest in the dental industry and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care
  • Current First Aid and CPR certifications
