Due to the continual growth of our organisation, we are currently seeking applications for Dispatch Clerk to join our Warehouse & Distribution team based in Pinkenba QLD.

About the role:

The successful candidate will have a proven background in warehousing and logistics.  Working in a busy environment, you will co-ordinate the transportation of goods to customers and ensure timely and cost-effective delivery schedules to meet both business and customer expectations.

The successful candidate will:

  • Co-ordinate all delivery runs efficiently and effectively to ensure goods are delivered in line with customer requirements and timelines
  • Handle delivery paperwork and invoicing in a timely manner
  • Prepare regular reports on productivity and run times
  • Act as the main contact for drivers and operations, maintaining accurate TMS records and reports.
  • Effectively manage all areas of despatch operations
  • Regularly liaise with drivers to ensure customer service requirements are exceeded
  • Manage driver run sheets and daily cash collections
  • Conduct analysis and investigate any discrepancies to drive continuous improvement
  • Regularly liaise with key departments and regional branches
  • Advocating and ensuring safety compliance in all aspects.

All about you:

  • 2?3 years? experience in transport or logistics, ideally in fleet control or dispatch.
  • Strong organisational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of CoR, fatigue management, and compliance standards.
  • Proficient in TMS, GPS tracking, and Microsoft Office.
  • work well under pressure
  • Forklift licence (advantageous)
  • Ability to maintain relationships with clients and suppliers.
  • possess a solid understand of Brisbane metropolitan and regional routes
  • Display sound analytical and leadership skills
  • Have a legal right to work full time in Australia
