Position Overview
The Bakery Store Manager at Luke's Bánh Mì is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the bakery store's operations, ensuring excellence in customer service, product quality, team leadership, compliance, and financial performance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience while maintaining the integrity of the Luke's Bánh Mì brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Management
Oversee daily store operations, ensuring adherence to company standards, procedures, and workflows.
Manage inventory and ordering to minimise waste and maximise freshness.
Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and food safety regulations.
Report and arrange equipment maintenance as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Liaise with approved suppliers for day-to-day stock or quality concerns.
Team Leadership
Recruit, train, and mentor store staff to uphold brand standards and deliver exceptional customer service.
Create and manage staff rosters aligned with budgeted labour costs and expected trade.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain staff training records and ensure required certifications are up to date.
Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-morale team culture.
Customer Service
Ensure a welcoming and engaging atmosphere for customers.
Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints effectively.
Maintain service standards in line with brand expectations.
Sales & Marketing Implementation
Implement local area marketing and promotional activities as directed by Head Office.
Ensure promotional materials are correctly displayed and communicated to the team.
Monitor the effectiveness of implemented promotions and report feedback to Head Office.
Financial Management & Reporting
Monitor daily and weekly sales and expenses.
Manage store budgets and control costs, including labour expenses.
Ensure accurate cash handling and banking.
Complete basic sales and labour reports.
Report financial performance and any issues to the Operations Manager.
Compliance & Incident Management
Ensure store compliance with workplace health and safety, food safety, and other regulatory requirements.
Log and report any safety, security, or customer incidents according to company policy.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Store Manager or in a similar leadership role within the food and beverage industry, preferably in a bakery or QSR environment.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
High-level command of the English language (spoken and written).
Vietnamese background is an advantage.
Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
Financial literacy, including budgeting, cost control, and basic reporting.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to food service.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as required.
A charismatic and energetic personality is highly advantageous.
