Club Managers

Viva Leisure is excited to offer three newly created Club Manager opportunities across our corporate-owned World Gym clubs in Coomera, Underwood and Stafford.

Following a recent corporate realignment, these roles have been introduced to strengthen on-the-ground leadership and elevate the member experience across our facilities. Reporting directly to the Facility Manager, each Club Manager will be a operational leader within their club, playing a pivotal role in driving daily performance, team engagement, and operational excellence.

As the primary day-to-day operational lead, the Club Manager ensures the smooth and efficient running of the facility, providing strong leadership to frontline teams while maintaining high standards of service, safety, and compliance. This role also acts as the delegated leader in the absence of the Facility Manager, offering continuity and confidence in leadership at all times.

Central to the success of this position is the ability to foster a high-performing, member-focused culture, drive membership growth, and improve operational efficiency—while supporting the broader strategic objectives of Viva Leisure. These roles are ideal for experienced leaders ready to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic, growing organisation.

We are looking for someone with:

Qualifications & Certifications

• Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• For roles in Creche, Swim School, and Group Fitness Instruction (GFI) in QLD: a valid Working with Children or Working with Vulnerable People Check is required. Please confirm with management whether this applies to your position.

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience managing multi-site retail operations, ideally within fitness, hospitality, or fast-paced consumer sectors.
• Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated ability to drive sales, manage budgets, and achieve profitability targets.
• Experienced leader with a track record of developing and motivating teams across dispersed locations.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple sites.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Lead, coach, and inspire frontline teams including gym staff, Personal Trainers, and Group Fitness instructors to deliver exceptional service and performance.
• Drive a positive, high-performing club culture focused on member engagement, accountability, and results.
• Oversee day-to-day club operations, ensuring the facility is safe, compliant, clean, and service-ready at all times.
• Manage rosters, recruitment, onboarding, and performance processes in partnership with the Facility Manager.
• Ensure compliance with WHS, policies, procedures, and operational standards, including safety audits and incident management.
• Deliver an outstanding end-to-end member experience, resolving enquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
• Drive membership growth and engagement through proactive sales activity, local marketing, community engagement, and digital/social media initiatives.
• Support and monitor Personal Training performance, group fitness programming, and ancillary services.
• Track, report, and improve key club KPIs including membership movement, retention, PT revenue, and operational efficiency.
• Manage club-level administrative processes including payroll accuracy, expenses, cancellations, and suspensions.
• Act as 2IC and provide strong leadership continuity in the absence of the Facility Manager.
