The Role – Freight Forwarder

Our Global division has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and career minded experienced Freight Forwarder - to be based in Kewdale. This opportunity has become available as we grow our team to support continued business growth.

The role requires you to provide effective and efficient day-to-day administrative support for export and import operations, with a focus on freight forwarding and transport duties.

What Will You be doing?

• Collect and process all forwarding related documentation and arrange to coordinate shipment movements
• Assist with ensuring the prompt and timely dispatch of all consignments
• Liaise efficiently and effectively with all relevant internal and external stakeholders to facilitate professional and positive relationships
• Assist with monitoring and tracking all consignments and keep all relevant stakeholders informed of progress
• Maintain customer relations for new accounts gained
• Collate and process all related paperwork in an accurate and timely manner
• Assist with providing quotations to clients in regard to worldwide shipments
• Accurate and up to date data base maintenance
• All other duties as required

Skills, licences & experience required for the position

• IATA DG qualified
• Current and valid Driver's Licence
• 1 year's minimum experience in an international Freight Forwarding and Logistics
• Highly skilled in MS Office
• Experience with Cargo Wise is highly desirable
