Staff Leadership Morning toolbox

Meet with the paint and panel staff every morning and chair a toolbox talk. During that meeting, conduct brief welfare checks to ensure readiness to work and inform of any potential issues that may require a different or modified approach throughout the day. Also, check staff levels and any full-day absences.

Assign unassigned staff to appropriate jobs and provide an estimation for that work to be completed.

Provide the team with company updates and safety messages.

Supervise and Mentor

Work closely with each staff member to identify their areas for improvement. Mentor and develop their skills, and identify and report issues promptly and professionally in line with company policy.

Ensure staff are working safely and following WHSE and Prancer regulations.

Team management Workflow & Efficiency

Plan and coordinate job scheduling to ensure optimal resource utilisation and minimise downtime.

Monitor job progress and intervene where necessary to avoid delays or rework.

Implement and maintain lean and efficient workshop processes to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency.

Communicate with the parts team to ensure all parts orders are on order and received. Any delays or queries are discussed and addressed as required.

Communicate with the Smash Coordinator and Service Coordinator to stay constantly up to date on jobs, delays and resourcing needs.

Quality Assurance

Conduct quality checks at key stages of each job to ensure standards are met.

Maintain high standards in preparation, repair, paintwork, and finishing.

Drive a "do it right the first time" mindset across the team.

Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials.

Work Health, Safety and Environment

Always promote and enforce a safe working environment.

Ensure all workshop activities comply with WHSE regulations.

Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the paint and panel work area.

Pay: $100,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
