About the role
We are seeking a hardworking and motivated Kitchen hand/ kitchen assistant to join our dynamic team at GRANGE GULLY BISTRO' in Petersham NSW 2049. This is a casual position, offering flexible work hours in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting the kitchen team with food preparation, including washing, chopping, and organising ingredients
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, including cleaning and sanitising kitchen equipment and surfaces
- Restocking and replenishing supplies as needed
- Supporting the kitchen team with any other tasks as required
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a similar role within the Hospitality industry, preferably in the Kitchen & Sandwich Hands sub-category
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
- Food safety and hygiene certification is preferred
