About The Role
The Learning Commons teacher will work as a member of a small team of staff to promote literacy and reading, media and information literacy, inquiry-based learning, technology integration, and digital citizenship and ethical behaviours. The successful applicant will create a safe and supportive learning environment, apply engaging pedagogical practices, and differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs. They will foster respectful relationships, analyse student data to enhance learning growth, and contribute to an inclusive school culture. Strong literacy, organisation, and collaboration skills are essential, along with a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching
• Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP)
• Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) accreditation
