Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm

Pay Rate: $36.63 per hour

About the Role

We're currently seeking a reliable and hard-working Cylinder Filler / Yard Hand to join our team in an ongoing role. This is a physically demanding position, ideal for someone with a strong work ethic and experience in manual labour.

As a Cylinder Filler, you'll be responsible for preparing LPG cylinders for distribution, including refilling, labelling, and loading for dispatch. You'll be part of a supportive team, working early starts and early finishes each weekday.

Key Duties:
  • Filling LPG gas cylinders using production machines
  • Lifting, carrying and handling cylinders up to 20kg
  • Re-labelling and painting cylinders as required
  • Loading gas cylinders into cages for dispatch
  • Basic yard hand tasks and general housekeeping
  • Occasional forklift operation (approx. 10% of role)
Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's Licence and reliable transport
  • Forklift Licence (preferred but not essential)
  • Must be physically fit - repetitive heavy lifting required
  • Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability
Pre-employment Conditions:
  • Must pass a Pre-Employment Medical (PEM) including Drug & Alcohol test
  • Must be able to pass a National Police Check
Preferred Experience:
  • Previous experience in a physical/manual labouring role
  • Experience in industrial, logistics, or yard-hand work highly regarded
