The opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and versatile Dental Assistant to join the Now Dental Team.

The position is for a casual 4 day working week, approx hours per/week flexible for some Saturday shifts. Our business hours vary from 7:30am - 6pm, so early and evening finishes is a must. A minimum of 1 year experience in dental assisting is ideal. Training will be provided. Knowledge of Dental 4 Windows software and basic reception experience will be advantageous.

As we have a new dentist joining our team in mid January, we would ideally want someone to commence employment around the same time. If you are available earlier prior to January that would be excellent as it will be valuable for training.

Key responsibilities

  • Assisting our dentists chairside in all aspects of clinical treatment
  • Maintaining the highest level of infection control at all times
  • Sterilisation duties and reprocessing of instruments
  • Basic reception duties (answering phone calls + bookings + greeting patients + HICAPS/EFTPOS payments)
