
Senior Automation Test Analyst

- Attractive hourly pay rate $140 to $160 + super
- 7 hours per day / 35 hours per week
- Hybrid work arrangement (WFH + Canberra office)
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
You will be responsible for the creation, execution and maintenance of automated test suites, using Tricentis Tosca and various industry tool sets within the Endpoint User Services (EUS) Test Team automation capability. Providing technical and procedural guidance along with troubleshooting of the testing process to ensure all relevant processes and procedures are followed during the development of automated test scripts, along with providing leadership in a project related space.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Develop, implement, and maintain automated tests for desktop applications and environment smoke tests using industry-standard tools, while independently managing assigned tasks or full activities, including ownership and resolution of any issues identified during execution.
- Liaise with stakeholders for the development of high-level solutions using automated test scripts required for project related activities, including the provision of estimates on effort to completed automation tasks.
- Participate in cross-functional collaboration by attending meetings, forums, and engagement project teams to contribute expertise and insights into software testing related initiatives, strategic objectives, and ongoing work activities.
- Support the management of automated testing toolsets, including maintaining all required documentation, while overseeing license allocation, server maintenance, and the administration of on-premises and cloud-hosted solutions for industry-standard technologies.
- Contribute to overall automation capability and EUS Test Team deliverables and continuous improvement through innovation, monitoring and allocation of tasks, training and documentation.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in testing of large and complex technology-based ICT systems including the use of test automation and industry software testing tools.
- Advanced proficiency in Tricentis TOSCA is essential, including hands-on experience in test case design, test automation, test data management, and execution across a variety of applications and environments.
- Highly skilled in both manual and automated test processes.
- Demonstrated understanding of the requirements, methodology and purpose of software testing in an enterprise environment.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving and trouble shooting skills.
