About the Role

Are you looking for an exciting Chef/Catering position with family friendly hours in addition to a monthly RDO? The position will be working across rotating shifts from Monday to Friday.

IRT Catering is seeking to appoint a passionate and qualified Chef to join the team on a full-time basis (part time can be considered). We're committed to helping you acheive a healthy work-life balance

Reporting to the Head Production Chef, you will assist in the smooth and efficient operation of the Production and Distribution areas of the Catering Services Centre through the effective supervision and utilisation of staff and resources.

As our Chef, you will be responsible for the preparation and production of high quality foods while following HACCP guidelines. Based in our Catering Services Centre, you'll work with the team to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of production and distribution of meals to our IRT locations. You'll use your leadership skills to provide direction and support to other kitchen staff in adhering to safety policies, procedures and guidelines in maintaining a clean and hygienic workplace.

To Be Successful You Will Have

A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery Qualificatio

  Previous experience in bulk cooking (Highly Desirable) and Aged Car- e
  Demonstrated understanding of current legislation and food handling guideline- s
  A hands-on approach and the ability to come up with new ideas and solution- s
  Sound leadership skills, self-motivation and a passion for Aged Car- e
