About the Role:

This position is initially offered on a casual basis, with the potential to transition into a full-time role. This flexibility provides you the opportunity to balance your work and lifestyle effectively. As a Tyre Fitter, you will play a crucial role in the fitting and repair of various light vehicles, heavy, and OTR tyres. We are looking for a candidate who is mechanically minded and capable of assisting in vehicle repairs to ensure the smooth operation of our client's fleet. This role offers the opportunity for FIFO or residential arrangements, and we can provide accommodation for the right applicant.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Repairing all types of tyres.
  • Performing scheduled servicing and maintenance on light vehicles.
  • Conducting light vehicle tyre changes.
  • Maintaining inventory and ensuring stock levels are adequate.
  • Testing and inspecting vehicles to accurately identify and resolve issues.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all work undertaken.
  • Providing exceptional customer service and liaising with clients to understand and fulfill their needs.
  • Contributing to a safe and efficient workshop environment.

Qualifications:

  • A relevant qualification in Tyre Fitting or a related field.
  • Familiarity with a range of light vehicle makes and models.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • A strong commitment to upholding workplace health and safety standards.
