Nesti is a dynamic housing provider spanning Community Housing, Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA), Repairs and Maintenance and Real Estate. The Role
As the SDA Development Coordinator, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating various facets of SDA housing and development initiatives. Your role will play a crucial part within the Housing Engagement team, offering project management, consultancy services and support for upcoming SDA projects.
You will manage administrative tasks and facilitate project communication with developers and service providers for all Nesti SDA projects, spanning from the planning and design phase to the construction completion and property onboarding stage. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, your expertise will help to ensure that prospective tenants move into a house, designed to suit their needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- To proactively cultivate relationships with external client stakeholders, such as developers, investors, and service providers, to facilitate and support SDA project planning and development activities.
- Work collaboratively with developers, service providers and participants to evaluate SDA property designs, facilitating the delivery of accessible SDA housing.
- Be the Nesti representative engaging with key stakeholders in the development of SDA properties including contributing to development meetings, undertaking routine site visits and other associated duties and activities.
- Be the main Nesti contact for the implementation of all SDA developments, providing support, fostering connections, and offering expert advice to both internal and external stakeholders while ensuring Nesti's due diligence is conducted.
- Facilitate tasks while collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure the onboarding of new SDA properties.
- Lead the enrolment of all Nesti SDA dwellings with the National Disability Insurance Agency.
- Collaborate closely with the Nesti team to expand the organisation's SDA portfolio and contribute to the identification of new housing opportunities.
About you:
- Proven experience in property design and development, including SDA and accessible housing.
- Have a working knowledge of project management principles and the experience to manage work and tasks effectively.
- You're exceptional at managing and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders and possess a high level of customer service.
- You're a natural communicator and team player but you also enjoy autonomy. You demonstrate flexibility and a keen willingness to actively contribute towards achieving Nesti's overall strategies.
- An understanding of the disability services sector and the complexities of the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
Other Employment Requirements:
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
- Current Australian driver's license, and access to a vehicle.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain).
