This position is being offered in a Temporary Part-Time capacity (0.67FTE), 51 hours per fortnight.

Miles State School is a vibrant Prep to Year-6 school located in the welcoming rural community of Miles, in Queensland's Darling Downs region. With around 200 students across nine classes and a dedicated team of 32 staff, the school offers a supportive and inclusive environment where students thrive. Known for its strong culture of kindness, community spirit, and active wellbeing programs, Miles State School is a place where both students and staff feel valued and connected.

Step Into Your Next Chapter:

The desired hours available are as follows: 5 hours each day, commencing at 5:00am to 8:00 am and 2:00 to 4:00pm.

  • Cleaning windows, pictures, doorknobs, taps, sinks, drinking fountains, lavatory basins, glassware, glass doors and cupboards.
  • Cleaning and sanitising toilet facilities and sick bays.
  • Cleaning and maintaining equipment.
  • Cobweb and mildew control, utilising extendable equipment as necessary.
  • Cleaning of concrete, bitumen, asphalt and paved surfaces.
  • Disposal of rubbish and litter control including removal of material from drains and gutters between and/or surrounding buildings.
