AP/AR Specialist

Are you an experienced AP/AR Specialist with 3+ years experience? Do you love film and have always wanted to work in this industry? We're looking for someone with 5+ years' experience in a similar role to be responsible for the efficient, accurate, and timely undertaking of finance functions, including assistance in the preparation of financial reporting to the Financial Controller to support operational and strategic decision-making.

You will be accountable for:

• Performing daily bank reconciliations, including matching of customer deposits and supplier payments in Xero
• Raising quotes, invoices and pro-actively managing accounts receivable, including debt collection.
• Raising/entering purchase orders and invoices into Xero and managing supplier accounts/accounts payable
• Processing bank payments, including payments to suppliers and licensors
• Perform monthly credit card reconciliation
• Consulting with the Financial Controller regarding proposed payments and authorisation of payments
• Attending to customer and supplier queries, including licensors where required
• Attending to general office management and admin tasks as directed
• Assisting the Financial Controller with ad-hoc tasks as required

About you:

• Demonstrated, hands on experience using Xero to conduct the above activities.
• Advanced excel skills
• 3+ years' experience in a similar role
• Proven reconciliation skills and experience
