The Role:

Our Client is seeking a highly skilled and motivatedElectricianto oversee and participate in the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety. 

Location: Wagga Wagga (Open to individuals looking to relocate to Wagga Wagga)

Responsibilities:

  • Routine and advanced maintenance and inspections on mechanical and electrical systems and equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical/technical issues
  • Repair and replace faulty components as required
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures for maintenance and training.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
  • Assist in the installation of new electrical systems and equipment.
  • Provide leadership, technical support, and mentorship to junior technicians.- As required
  • Collaborate with other departments within the company
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and ensure timely resolutions.

Skills:

  • Experience in electrical maintenance, repair, and installation.- Open to learn
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and be on-call as needed.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Experience:

  • Experience in electrical maintenance, repair, and installation.
  • Experience in the renewable energy sector is a plus.
  • Knowledge of HV/LV systems and communication networks is desirable- - Not essential . Open to learn

Qualifications

  • Valid NSW electrical supervisors or contractor's license
  • Valid Drivers licence
  • HV electrical qualification desirable- Not Essential
  • LVR/CPR current certificate- Not Essential
  • First Aid current certificate- Not Essential
  • Working at Heights desirable- Not Essential
