Onsite Boilermaker/Rigger
We have a permanent fulltime position available in a well-established Structural company in Pakenham. We are seeking an Experienced Qualified Boilermaker/Rigger that can work and communicate effectively onsite.
About the role:
Douglas Sheetmetal & Engineering is looking for a qualified Boilermaker / Rigger to work alongside our Installation team and be proactive in getting the job done correctly and safely. A company vehicle will also be included in the package. This role will require you to work on site 70% of the time and to work the remainder in the Factory.
The successful applicant will be required to have:
- Trade Qualification
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Exceptional ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Ability to liaise with the builder and other sub-contractors
- Communicate professionally with clients and fellow workers
- Must have problem-solving skills
- High levels of attention to details
- Time management skills
- Make sure jobs are running to schedule
- Ability to check and measure jobs accurately
- Safety Conscious
- Workshop and fabrication experience
- Punctuality & reliability is a MUST
Qualifications Required:
- Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade
- Overhead Crane
- Drivers Licence
- All relevant site tickets will be looked upon favourably.
(Riggers / EWP / White Card / Forklift / Dogman)
Remuneration is negotiable on experience
