We're seeking an experienced Boilermaker / Welder to join our growing team based in Botany, NSW. The ideal candidate will have solid fabrication skills, be confident working from technical drawings, and have proven experience installing structural steelwork onsite.

About the Role

You'll be responsible for fabricating and assembling structural steel components in our workshop, as well as assisting with onsite installation projects across Sydney. This role suits someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, works well in a team, and can manage tasks independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fabrication and welding of structural steel components
  • Reading and interpreting detailed workshop drawings and plans
  • Assisting with site installation and erection of steel structures
  • Operating fabrication tools and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Working both independently and as part of a small, skilled team

Skills & Experience

  • Trade qualified Boilermaker / Welder (Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in structural steel fabrication and installation
  • Ability to confidently read and work from technical drawings
  • Competent MIG and stick welder
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • White Card (essential)
  • Current driver's licence

Preferred but not essential:

  • EWP, forklift, or rigging tickets
  • Experience with commercial or industrial steel projects
