About Good News Lutheran College

About the Role

We are currently seeking collaborative and dedicated teachers to join our growing team at the Mambourin Campus in 2026 in the below areas:

  1. Primary Years Teachers – teaching across Years 2 to 6
  2. Year 7 Teachers – specialising in:
  • Mathematics & Science
  • English & Humanities

As a Classroom Teacher, you will report directly to the Principal and be primarily responsible for:

  • Supporting the well-being and holistic development of each student in your care.
  • Delivering the Australian Curriculum through the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework (PYP for primary, MYP for Year 7) using contemporary, evidence-based teaching practices.

Selection Criteria

  • VIT – Teacher's registration to teach in Victoria
  • Qualifications supporting, and experience in, teaching the relevant subjects
  • Commitment to the Christian Ethos of the College
  • Have excellent relationship and communication skills
