ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Civil Mobile Plant Operator (Excavator) with Ertech, you'll play an integral role in delivering high-quality works across major infrastructure and land development projects. You'll operate 5t to 30t excavators to complete a range of earthworks and trenching activities, working alongside experienced crews and supervisors to ensure all works are carried out safely, efficiently, and to specification.

Your responsibilities in this role will include but are not limited to:

  • Excavation for wall footings, drainage, and sewer installations
  • Common service trenching for water and power
  • Performing bulk earthworks for road and footpath construction

This role is suited to someone who takes pride in their workmanship, enjoys working outdoors as part of a collaborative crew, and understands the importance of safety and quality on site.

ESSENTIAL RQUIREMENTS FOR THE FEL ROLE

  • Excavator National competency ticket
  • Proven experience operating excavators on civil, subdivision, or infrastructure projects, including trenching, backfilling, bulk earthworks, and material handling.
  • Ability to work effectively within a civil construction crew and follow instructions from supervisors.
  • FEL ticket, highly desirable
  • HR Licence
  • White card
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and AOD screening.
  • Full Australian Working Rights
