Role Overview:
As an Electrical Apprentice, you will support experienced electricians in all aspects of electrical work, including new and maintenance works. This entry-level position offers a fantastic opportunity to learn in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
We will arrange formal enrollment in an electrical apprenticeship program for successful candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation of wiring systems, conduit, and other electrical components.
- Perform electrical work under the direct supervision of experienced electricians.
- Read and interpret plans, schematics, and wiring diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Maintain and organise tools, materials, and the work area to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations when working with electricity.
- Troubleshoot and perform repairs on electrical systems as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a current Australian driver's license.
- Ability to work from ladders and scaffolds, and under various weather conditions.
- Good physical strength and manual dexterity for handling tools and materials.
- Eagerness to learn and a strong work ethic with excellent communication skills.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a proven ability to work as a team player.
- Preferable to have an electrical pre-apprenticeship or some trade experience but not essential.
- Must hold valid Australian work rights including any valid work visa.
- Minimum Year 10 completion required.
