Are you an experienced Business Analyst with a passion for streamlining processes and supporting organisation-wide transformation?

The Shire of Augusta Margaret River is seeking a dynamic ERP Business Analyst to support the successful delivery of our major ERP replacement project. This role is pivotal in ensuring business needs are effectively translated into system solutions that deliver real improvements across the organisation.

About the Role

As the ERP Business Analyst, you'll collaborate closely with the ERP Project Manager, business unit experts, and our ERP vendor to align system design and configuration with business processes, and improve key processes. You'll play a central role in shaping how we work, ensuring our future systems and ways of working are efficient, compliant, and aligned with strategic goals.

Key responsibilities include:

• Facilitating workshops and interviews to gather and refine business requirements

• Analysing current and future business processes to identify improvements

• Translating functional needs into technical ERP specification requirements

• Supporting system testing, data validation, and user acceptance

• Collaborating across teams to facilitate change, communication, and training

About You

To be successful, you'll bring:

• Proven experience conducting business process reviews and implementing improvements

• Solid background in ERP systems (finance modules such as GL, AP/AR, procurement, HR/payroll preferred)

• Strong stakeholder engagement and documentation skills

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

• A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent industry experience
