We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Writer with safety experience to join our team. In this role, you will create clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation that supports compliance, operational excellence, and workplace safety. You'll collaborate with subject matter expert to produce high-quality content for company policies, manuals, and training materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including company policies, safety manuals, and compliance guides.
  • Translate complex technical and regulatory information into clear, concise language for diverse audiences.
  • Ensure all documentation meets industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with teams to incorporate best practices and regarding safety, hazard mitigation strategies.
  • Manage version control and maintain document integrity across platforms.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders, including clients, sub-contractors, and regulatory bodies, to ensure effective communication and alignment of safety objectives across all locations.
  • Collaborate closely with managers and employees at all locations to ensure a comprehensive understanding and adherence to safety requirements.
  • Ensure appropriate standards, processes and training protocols are in place and communicated relating to (but not limited to); storage and handling of chemicals and hazardous substances, personal protective equipment, safety checks on equipment, work permits and certifications.
  • Oversee incident reporting, investigation, and analysis, and develop and implement strategies to prevent future incidents.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Technical Writer in an industrial, engineering, or safety-focused environment.
  • Strong understanding of workplace health and safety standards (e.g., ISO, WHS, OSHA).
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and compliance regulations.
  • Proficiency in documentation tools (e.g., MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, or similar).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in Technical Writing or Safety Management is highly regarded.
  • Experience with digital content management systems and document control processes.
