KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Drive performance

  • Set team and individual objectives.
  • Oversee team activities in line with organisational goals, allocate resources accordingly.
  • Communicate organisational goals and context with team members to drive high performance.
  • Meet or exceed team KPIs.

Revenue generation

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships across funding bodies, employment and schools' sectors to

identify fee for service opportunities.

  • Lead proposal development and/or tender bid development relating to careers and mentoring services
  • Support commercial negotiations with respective State Manager & Mas Senior Managers.
  • Deliver high quality career advice in line with commercial agreement/s.

Reporting

  • Provide regular and accurate reports on team and individual performance.
  • Provide regular and accurate forecasting.
  • Make necessary recommendations/changes to team activities based on forecasts and reporting.

Stakeholder engagement

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Leverage stakeholder engagement to identify commercial opportunities for Mas National.

Knowledge

  • Understanding of current mentoring and career advice practices.
  • An understanding of Commonwealth Government requirements along with all State Training Authority (STA) requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of the key client groups including, first nations, people living with a disability,

women in trade and rural/regional Australian Apprentices and New Energy Apprentices.

  • Develop and maintain relevant knowledge of AASS contract requirements.

Team work

  • Work collaboratively across Mas and the IntoWork Group.

ORGANISATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

Internal Contacts: State Manager, Mas Senior managers, Apprentice Consultants, Operations Managers,

Administration Team, other IntoWork businesses.

External Contacts: Government Departments, Registered Training Organisations, Employers, Apprentices and other stakeholders

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

Relevant Occupational Check

It is a requirement of the position to undertake, hold and maintain the following prior to, and throughout your employment:

  • Satisfactory National Police Check
  • Valid Working with Children Check (Employment status) applicable to the state in which you work
  • Drivers Licence applicable to the state in which you work

Education & Accreditation

  • Work collaboratively with partner organisations.
  • Provide continuous improvement strategies.
  • whilst maintaining a balance between quality implementation and commercial imperatives.

Quality

  • Utilise the Quality Management System to ensure procedures and policies are adhered to.
  • Have an awareness on how to navigate the QMS.
  • Monitor compliance, analyse data and identify trends in order to determine best practice for Mas with

regards to improving performance and achieving goals.

  • Achieve a high level of efficiency whilst maintaining a balance between quality implementation and

commercial imperatives.

Health and Safety

  • Comply with all relevant Health and Safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment is maintained. Abide by company procedures for identifying and reporting of potential hazards.
