About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pharmacist in Charge to join our team at Western Plains Pharmacy in Dubbo, NSW. This full-time role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our busy community pharmacy, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and regulatory compliance. Part time hours (25 to 30 hours) can be considered for the right candidate.
What you'll be doing
- Providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care to our patients, including dispensing medications, patient counselling, and medication management
- Managing the pharmacy team and delegating tasks to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient outcomes
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant pharmacy regulations and guidelines
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for our patients
- Participating in pharmacy practice development and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and documentation
What we're looking for
- Registered Pharmacist with a current practising certificate
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare providers
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
