Are you a passionate and experienced chef looking for flexible work in a vibrant, fast-paced environment? We are seeking a Casual Qualified Chef to join our team at Pier 97 in Wickham, catering for events ranging from 50 to 200 guests.

About the Role: As a casual chef, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality meals for a variety of functions including weddings, corporate events, private parties, and more. You'll work alongside a dedicated team to execute tailored menus with precision and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook dishes according to event-specific menus

• Maintain high standards of food presentation and hygiene

• Manage food preparation timelines to ensure smooth service

• Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams

• Adhere to all food safety and workplace health & safety regulations

Requirements:

• Certificate III (or higher) in Commercial Cookery

• Proven experience in high-volume catering or function venues

• Strong time management and organisational skills

• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts as required

• A calm, professional attitude under pressure

• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (desirable)
