About Us

At United Minds, we do things a little differently. We're a not-for-profit psychology service that combines the best of private practice with a strong community focus. Our aim is to make quality mental health care accessible, while supporting our team to enjoy their work and grow professionally.

We're now looking for an experienced Educational & Developmental Psychologist to join our team. This is more than a clinical role – we'd love you to also bring your expertise to help us shape our services, support our community, and contribute to the growth from an educational and developmental psychology perspective.

What We Value
  • Balance – healthy workloads and space to enjoy life outside work
  • Growth – learning, development and curiosity are encouraged
  • Civility – respect, kindness and professionalism in everything we do
  • Diversity & Inclusion – we celebrate differences and embrace neurodiversity
  • Safety – for clients, team members and the community

We are also proudly neuroaffirming, creating spaces where clients feel understood, accepted and supported as they are.

What You'll Do
  • Provide psychological assessments, therapy and consultation for children, adolescents and their families
  • Bring your knowledge of learning, developmental, and neurodevelopmental presentations (e.g. ADHD, autism, learning differences)
  • Offer consultation and support to schools, educators and families
  • Contribute to developing and expanding our services, with a focus on educational and developmental psychology
  • Share your expertise with the team – supervision, informal mentoring, or collaborative projects
  • Be part of a relaxed, supportive and down-to-earth workplace culture
What We Offer
  • Permanent part-time role (4 days/week)
  • Paid parental leave, birthday leave, and study leave
  • Strong admin support – we take care of the background work so you can focus on clients
  • A professional development program tailored to your goals
  • Opportunities to design or contribute to programs and community initiatives
  • A team that genuinely enjoys working together and supporting each other
About You
  • Fully registered Psychologist with AHPRA
  • Board approved supervisor
  • Endorsed in Educational & Developmental Psychology (or significant experience in this area)
  • Eligible for a Medicare provider number
  • Current Working with Children Check and Police Check
  • Experienced in assessments, interventions and consultation for children and young people
  • Committed to neuroaffirming, evidence-based practice
  • Ready to share your skills and ideas to help shape our service
