Associate – Distribution and Credit Solutions

Responsibilities This is an Associate opportunity for a passionate professional to join Societe Generale on a full-time, permanent basis. You will have the opportunity to apply your existing knowledge and build on your industry experience by learning from a team of experienced asset-backed products practitioners in Australia and offshore.
You will further develop skills for client marketing and pitching, transaction structuring, credit and cashflow modelling, risk analysis, ongoing portfolio and transaction management, private and public debt distribution – all core aspects of the DCS business - through ad hoc training and on-the-job experience. You will be involved in all stages of the deal life cycle from preparation of initial client proposals including responding to RFP through to credit analysis and preparation of submission for internal approvals and deal execution in both private format and public securitization markets. You will assume responsibility for certain aspects of origination and transaction execution on a case-by-case basis.
Your main responsibilities will include:Supporting origination and structuring efforts. Preparing client pitches and other marketing materials. Credit and cash flow modelling and preparing credit and other internal approval requests.
Deal execution both internally and externally in the context of public securitization transactions. Conducting client due diligence and managing client onboarding. Portfolio and business performance reporting; and
Other ad hoc business and transaction specific requirements. As part of your role within Distribution and Credit Solutions, you will interact with other SG teams such as Risk, Legal, Compliance, Client Coverage, Syndicate, Trading and Sales, on and offshore, to name a few.
You will also work alongside other local client facing teams including Infrastructure, Energy, Metals and Mining, Debt Capital Markets, Real Estate and Financial Institutions and Corporate Coverage. You will benefit from working in an industry with clients who are engaging in innovative transactions including sustainability-linked debt structuring, financing and distribution. Profile required
Qualifications, Experience & Knowledge RequiredTertiary qualification in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Law, Accounting, Science or Engineering. Other qualifications may be considered subject to demonstrating genuine interest in Finance and relevant experience. Proven ability to succeed in a similar or related role Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills (including securitization cashflow modelling)Experience in efficiently managing multiple tasks and working in a collaborative team environment
