Senior Environmental Advisor

As part of the $1 billion
Tonkin Extension Alliance (TEA)
, Georgiou is seeking a
Senior Environmental Advisor
to support the delivery of this landmark infrastructure project.

Based in the Byford region, this hands-on, project-based role will be responsible for assisting with compliance against environmental approvals, implementing environmental management systems, and building strong relationships with regulators, clients, and community stakeholders. Reporting to the HSE&S Manager, you will play a key role in embedding sound environmental practices across the Alliance.

In This Role, You Will

• Support the development and implementation of the Project Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP), sub-plans and systems to meet legal, client, and accreditation obligations
• Assist in the management of the project's environmental monitoring program (air, noise, vibration, water quality, waste) and contribute to reporting of performance
• Act as a key point of contact for regulators, the client, and community stakeholders on environmental matters
• Provide advice, toolbox presentations and guidance to site and project teams on environmental practices
• Liaise with government bodies and community groups to ensure positive environmental outcomes
• Support the project team in closing out regulatory requirements and maintaining compliance across work fronts

What You're Good At

• Extensive experience in construction, ideally with a focus on environmental management in civil or infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of WA environmental guidelines, legislation and compliance requirements
• Proven ability to liaise effectively with regulators, clients and external stakeholders.
• Experience in developing and implementing environmental systems and plans.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide clear advice and guidance to construction teams
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline.

Your application will be highly regarded if you can also demonstrate:

• Groundwater, wetland or dewatering expertise.
• Prior experience on MRWA infrastructure projects.
