About The Role
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Data Analyst to join our Global Digital & Data team in support of People Operations. This role focuses on transforming data into actionable insights, automating manual workflows, and building dashboards to enable data-driven decisions across the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyse datasets, automate reporting and data processing tasks, and build scalable reporting solutions using Power BI, Python, Excel/VBA, and SQL. The ideal candidate is both detail-oriented and business-savvy, with strong communication skills and a passion for improving efficiency through data and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance across analytics and automation workflows.
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and automated reports using Power BI, with strong use of DAX measures, Power Query, M Code, and data modeling principles.
- Use Python (including Pandas, NumPy, Tkinter, and PyInstaller) for data analysis, scripting, tool development, and automation.
- Create and maintain SQL queries (intermediate level) to extract, transform, and analyze structured data.
- Build and automate workflows using Advanced Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and VBA macros.
- Leverage MS Access for small-scale data management and automation when required.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand operational requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across reporting and analytics solutions.
- Continuously look for opportunities to optimize and automate manual or repetitive processes
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in data analysis, dashboard development, and process automation.
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Python (with hands-on experience in Pandas, NumPy, Tkinter, PyInstaller)
- Power BI (DAX, Power Query, M Code, data modeling)
- SQL (intermediate level) o Advanced Excel and VBA
- MS Access
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills—must be fluent in English and able to explain complex topics to non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in data science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in data analytics or automation, preferably supporting operations or HR/People functions.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure services (e.g., Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure SQL) is a plus.
- Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git, GitHub) is advantageous.
- Experience with data quality management or data governance frameworks is a bonus
