Your responsibilities will include:

Are you an experienced Security professional looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a Senior Security Representative to join our team and provide leadership and expert advice across a wide range of security initiatives and critical programs.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping and safeguarding our Defence programs. You'll work alongside industry experts, contribute to mission-critical projects, and have opportunities to grow and influence security practices across the organisation.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and implement compliance plans in accordance to Defence Industry requirements.
  • Lead and support security investigations and ensure timely and effective resolutions.
  • Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) advice and guidance in relation to security matters across the business.
  • Contribute to customer meetings and actively support new business activities.
  • Deliver innovative and practical security solutions to a wide range of complex problems.
  • Ensure all security services meet the highest quality, regulatory, and technical standards.
  • Support the induction of new personnel, embedding a strong security culture.
  • Develop, review, and maintain company security assets in line with corporate and Defence Industry requirements.

About you:

We are looking for, candidates with the following qualifications and experience:

  • Extensive experience working with Defence Industry.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (preferred in Security) and/or equivalent Defence Industry experience.
  • Extensive experience working in a Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) environment.
  • Ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and work within schedules.
  • Strong knowledge of:

  • Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF)

  • Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF)
  • Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM)
  • Demonstrated ability to develop compliance plans and lead investigations.
  • Proven capability in developing innovative and practical solutions to complex problems.
  • Experience working in the Defence Industry, with a track record of meeting regulatory and stakeholder expectations.

Special Requirements:

Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulations.
