About the position

The successful appointee will be responsible for:

• Provision of designs of the City's Civil Engineering projects on the Capital Works Program,

• Preparation of CAD drawings for allocated projects,

• Preparation of cost estimates and budget submissions,

• Provision of specialist Civil Engineering advice to internal and external stakeholders.

About you

As a collaborative member of the design team, the position is accountable for design and documentation of civil engineering projects. The successful appointee must be an adaptable, experienced civil engineering designer. They must also thrive working in a very busy and change driven organisation.

As such, applicants must be able to demonstrate through their CV and covering letter that they meet the following capabilities:

• Tertiary qualifications in civil engineering,

• Experience in civil engineering,

• Advanced computer literacy in specialised civil engineering software,

• Advanced communication and problem solving skills.
