- assessing and managing complaints
- investigating staff disciplinary matters, including reportable conduct
- conducting reviews, including those relating to child deaths
- monitoring working with children check compliance of departmental employees
- delivering integrity education training across the Department
- identifying and managing serious misconduct risk associated with fraud and corruption.

- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
- consent to a National Criminal History Check with the Department's Screening Unit.
- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check
- hold a current C class drivers licence
- travel intrastate as required
- complete a declaration prior to employment and annually thereafter, disclosing any previous disciplinary findings, criminal charges or convictions, and ongoing conflicts of interest
- provide a statement from previous employer/s with regard to any disciplinary findings
- A detailed and comprehensive CV of up to five (5) pages outlining your employment history and professional learning summary relevant to this position
- A cover letter of no more two (2) pages detailing your capabilities and experience in the context of the advert, and key requirements and selection criteria as outlined in the attached JDF.
