About the role

Full Stack Software engineers create the software we ship to our users. You will focus on front-end development, creating world-class, AI centric user interfaces. As a member of our core product team, you'll join us in inventing a new, better way to operate technology at scale and better the planet. Motivated senior AND junior engineers may apply.

Responsibilities

• Design, Build, and Operate: Take ownership of significant parts of the platform, driving the end-to-end development lifecycle from ideation and design through implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing operation.
• Full-Stack Integration: Contribute across the technical stack – make sure the front-end is neatly integrated with back-end systems – to deliver impactful services that delight our customers.
• Champion Efficiency: Embody our value of "Efficiency over complexity" by building pragmatic, maintainable, and highly performant software that directly contributes to reducing cloud waste for our customers and ourselves.
• Collaborate Closely & Drive Shared Vision: Work hand-in-hand with the founding team to shape the product, make key UX decisions, and translate our shared vision and understanding of customer needs ('Work backwards from the customer') into impactful experiences. Ensure tight alignment and shared understanding through open, direct, and continuous communication. Clearly articulate technical decisions and trade-offs.
• Drive Technical Excellence: Contribute to defining best practices, improving code quality, enhancing system reliability, and fostering a culture of technical rigor within the engineering team.
• Embrace Ownership: Proactively identify opportunities for improvement, whether in the product, our infrastructure, or our processes, and take the initiative to drive positive change ("Think like an owner").

About you

You effectively break down problems, develop robust solutions, and demonstrate a strong eagerness to learn and adapt your skills to new technologies and domains as needed.

• Experience Level: You have a demonstrated track record of designing, building, and deploying non-trivial software systems and features, showing increasing levels of autonomy and technical depth. We focus and compensate based on capability, not on years in role.

• Cloud Platforms: Working directly with major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure), especially understanding their billing models, cost structures, and APIs.
• UX: Creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces to complex systems. AI user flow experiences a big plus.
• Frontend Development: Develop user interfaces with modern frameworks, especially or React.
• AI/ML Concepts: Practical experience or strong conceptual understanding of machine learning, large language models (LLMs), or agentic AI systems.
• Infrastructure & DevOps: Cloud-native infrastructure tooling, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), or Infrastructure as Code practices (e.g., Terraform).
• Data Engineering: Designing or building data pipelines, working with large datasets, or using relevant data processing tools.
• Relevant Domains: Deep understanding of FinOps principles and awareness of the practical challenges enterprises face in areas like cost visibility, accurate allocation, forecasting, optimisation, and fostering a cost-conscious engineering culture.
