Are you an experienced forklift operator seeking a stable and rewarding opportunity in the food manufacturing industry? Join a rapidly expanding food manufacturing company as a Forklift Operator and be part of our continued success

Role and Responsibilities: As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our day-to-day operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, finished goods, and supplies throughout the facility.
  • Loading and unloading trucks, ensuring accurate inventory control.
  • Conducting pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Collaborating with warehouse and production teams to ensure efficient and timely material flow.
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work area and following good manufacturing practices (GMP).
  • Reporting any equipment malfunctions, accidents, or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
  • Demonstrating a commitment to teamwork, reliability, and professionalism.

Qualifications and Skills:To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Previous experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Valid and current forklift licence and a proven track record of safe and efficient forklift operation.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse and inventory management practices.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documenting inventory movements.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
