About Us

Shining Solar Energy is a reputable and reliable solar energy installer in Victoria.

We are accredited and approved by Solar Victoria and recognised as a New Energy Tech Seller.

We specialise in residential and commercial solar and battery installations and maintain an impeccable record of client satisfaction.

Due to rapid growth and strong project demand, we are looking for 2nd or 3rd-year electrical apprentices or Electrical Trade Assistants to join our professional installation team.

Tasks & Responsibilities
  • Assist licensed electricians with the installation of residential and commercial solar PV systems and Battery systems
  • Support solar PV and battery installation and wiring under supervision
  • Install rooftop framing systems (feet, rails, and solar panels)
  • Conduct maintenance and troubleshooting of solar systems
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and organised work environment
  • Deliver excellent customer service on and off site

Qualifications & experience

  • Current driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Ownership of basic hand tools and basic power tools
  • Previous solar and battery experience (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Punctuality and a willingness to learn
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • White Card
  • Working at Heights course (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Work Safely in the Solar Industry course (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Physically fit for daily tasks
