We are currently expanding our in-house design and documentation capabilities and are seeking a qualified Architectural Draftsperson to join our growing team.

About the Role

We're looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Draftsperson to support the drafting, documentation, and coordination needs of our interior fitout projects. You will work closely with designers, project managers, and site teams to convert concepts into construction-ready documentation that aligns with regulatory standards and project timelines.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare working drawings, documentation, and specifications from design concepts in AutoCAD and Revit

  • Interpret and apply building codes, regulations, and standards to ensure compliance

  • Assist in coordinating architectural documentation with consultants and construction teams

  • Prepare detailed plans, elevations, sections, and 3D visuals for presentation and council submission

  • Revise and update documentation to reflect design changes or site conditions

  • Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and regulatory bodies for technical coordination

  • Contribute to construction cost estimations by preparing accurate take-offs and material schedules

  • Conduct site measurements and attend inspections to validate as-built conditions

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Building Design, Architectural Drafting, or similar

  • At least 1 years of full-time relevant experience in a drafting or documentation role

  • Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite

  • Strong knowledge of NCC/BCA and WA building standards

  • Experience in commercial fitout or interior architecture preferred

  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

  • Able to work across multiple projects and deadlines

Salary/Compensation

This role offers a competitive salary of AUD 75,000 – 77,000 per annum plus superannuation, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
