Key Responsibilities

As a member of our front-of-house team, you'll be responsible for:

· Understanding the stringent requirements and food allergies of Coeliac (Gluten free) dining guests

· Ensure Coeliac Gluten free food options are adhered to for Coeliac dinning guests and others

· Setting and arranging tables

· Taking reservations, greeting customers and presenting them with menus and beverage lists

· Recommending dishes and wines to complement food (particularly in fine-dining establishments)

· Taking orders and relaying them to kitchen and bar staff

· Serving food and beverages

· Opening bottles and pouring beverages including mixing liquor and assisting in the cellar

· clearing tables and returning dishes and cutlery to the kitchen

· Removing empty bottles and used glasses from tables, and refilling and replacing glasses

· collecting payments for sales and operating point of sales machines and cash registers

· Greeting and seating guests with warmth and professionalism

· Taking orders and delivering food and beverages efficiently

· Providing menu guidance, including wine and food pairing suggestions

· Ensuring customers' allergies are carefully noted, communicated to the kitchen, and managed in strict accordance with our safety protocols.

· Ensuring a clean and organised dining area

· Creating a friendly and memorable experience for every guest

Qualifications and Experience

· Proficient in English

· At least two (2) years' relevant experience, OR

· At least 18 months' relevant work experience in Australia on a temporary visa, OR

· AQF certificate III in Hospitality (Restaurant Front of House), or equivalent qualification as assessed by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) AND at least, OR

· 12 months relevant work experience (12 months relevant work experience is additional to job placements during course of study).

· Salary $77,000 - $82,000
