About the Opportunity

Are you a passionate retail leader who thrives on building others up? We're searching for a Retail Trainer to join a purpose-led retail organisation supporting remote Indigenous communities across Northern Territory and Far North Queensland.

This is not your average training role — you'll be on the ground, travelling to stores, coaching local teams, and uplifting retail standards where they matter most. It's hands-on, rewarding, and uniquely impactful.

What You'll Be Doing

• Deliver training across store operations, merchandising, customer service, and food retail fundamentals
• Coach and mentor Store and Duty Managers to drive performance and develop their teams
• Identify skill gaps and tailor training support accordingly
• Provide operational relief in-store when required
• Champion safe work practices, cultural awareness, and community connection

• Salary $90k–$100k + Super
• 7 weeks annual leave

Who We're Looking For

• Supermarket, food retail, or remote community retail experience
• Proven background in training, area management, or relief store leadership
• Culturally sensitive and adaptable in diverse environments
• Strong communication, people leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Certificate III in Retail (or willingness to obtain)
• NT C Class driver's licence (or ability to obtain)

Desirable but not essential: Remote store management, Forklift Licence, First Aid, 4WD training, HR/MR driver's licence.
