Location: Smithfield, Sydney
Salary Package: $85,000 - $90,000 + superannuation pro rata
Role Highlights: This is a hands-on position where you will be part of a close-knit team. You will be responsible for both general administrative support and day-to-day bookkeeping tasks. You'll play an integral part in maintaining accurate financial records, managing stock orders, and liaising with suppliers and service providers.

With a strong foundation in commercial construction and project delivery, this organisation has built a reputation for completing high-quality, detail-driven work across the hospitality, corporate, and retail sectors. Their operations range from specialised refurbishments to large-scale commercial developments, often coordinating teams of up to 150 contractors across multiple sites.
The Role:
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks including invoicing, reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable and maintain accurate financial and stock records using accounting systems.
- Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth office operations.
- Send and manage emails, including correspondence related to projects and supplier communications.
- Use the company's job tracking system to update project progress and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with ordering materials and supplies, including creating purchase orders, sending them to suppliers, and matching and allocating invoices to the correct jobs.
Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping and office administration within the construction industry (essential).
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work autonomously, and contribute positively to a small, fast-paced team environment.
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident only.
